Did you know that in 2014 the National Cancer Institute estimated over 15,000 cases of adolescent cancer in the United States? (19 years or younger.)
Have you wondered about how you could make a difference in their lives?
Have you ever thought about running 26.2 miles? Or paying someone else to run it for you?
If you’re the latter, here is your opportunity!
We (Amanda and Sarah) are coming from different parts of the country to run the Snickers Marathon in Albany, Georgia for Special Days Camps. On March 4, 2017 we will be hitting the pavement and we’d love to run it for you and for Special Days Camp! But we need your help – join us!
All you have to do is pick your team: Sarah is running for Youth Camp and Amanda is running for Teen Camp! Once you’ve picked your team, we are asking you to help us raise money, by donating yourself and/or telling all of your friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances, and random people you meet on the street about the race… feel free to use this link to spread the word: http://specialdays.camp/amanda-vs-sarah-sdc-marathon-mania/
May the best camp win!
At the end of the day, all of the donations will go to Special Days Camp to send children who have been affected by cancer to camp.. So, join the race and do it #forSDC!
Will you be team Sarah? Or team Amanda?
